This 4-month Medical Billing and Coding Certificate Program is specifically designed for individuals who have experience working in a medical environment.

We recommend that students have a basic understanding of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology and health insurance and reimbursement techniques. Individuals who require instruction in these foundation subjects should enroll in MED-BCF Medical Billing and Coding with Foundation Courses (6-8 months).

Individuals who complete this program will receive a Medical Billing and Coding certificate from Washington Online Learning Institute.

Graduates will also be well prepared to take the AHIMA Certified Coding Associate (CCA). Tuition for this program includes the examination fee for the AHIMA CCA exam.
