Washington Online is pleased to offer a new series of career development courses using the Hidden Job Market (HJM) system, developed by Professor Annie Goldman-Reed, Esq.

These courses offer an innovative method that will help people at all stages of their legal career to find ways to expand their career options.

The HJM system is a holistic approach to career planning and development focusing on the individual's intrinsic value systems, talents, and abilities. Professor Goldman-Reed has pioneered the field of paralegal career development for nearly twenty years with her HJM system, and she has advised thousands of paralegals on how to find jobs and enhance their careers

Now, this series of courses is available online for the first time at Washington Online.

Washington Online offers the following two courses in this series:

WOL-350: How to Penetrate the Hidden Paralegal Job Market

Provides an introduction to the HJM system, and teaches you how to find those jobs that are not advertised to the general public. The course will also help you to develop and implement an effective strategy for your job search, including networking, researching, and forming alliances.

This is a four-week course. Special tuition discounts are available for graduates of the Paralegal Certificate Program.

WOL-351: Career Coaching for Paralegals

This course builds on the knowledge gained in the WOL-350 course about the Hidden Job Market system. Professor Goldman-Reed will provide one-on-one coaching to help you fully realize the potential of the HJM approach, so that you can be assured of achieving your goals and objectives in your job search.

This course is offered on a subscription basis.
